Senator Dick Elliott lauded the Marion Regional Healthcare system for its 282,000 square foot facility designed to serve the Aynor area. The Aynor Medical Center is a million dollar project that will both provide increased access to healthcare in this community and stimulate the local economy by providing additional healthcare and administrative jobs. Elliott spoke at the groundbreaking for the facility that is slated to open in fall, 2009.
